This circular walk of around 14 miles goes out from Fenny Compton - it's flat for 8 miles then a little hilly in places for the return.
From Fenny Compton Wharf, the route takes the Oxford Canal for a short section to Fenny Marine, leaving it to visit Fenny Compton Village before heading for the Wormleighton Reservoir.
Fenny Compton and Wormleighton lie on either side of a natural gap through the hills that close off the Warwickshire plain. Road, railway and canal all utilise the gap. On this walk field paths and sections of canal link the two attractive villages.
